Marriners 9: Fabulous vintage knitting pattern from the 1940s for a Tyrolean style jumper coat, as it was called - to fit 34"-36" bust with zip, could just as easily be made as edge to edge or with toggles and loops to close would be in keeping with time and style. Worked in vintage 3ply so try modern 4ply in a tension square and change needles if needed, for larger size use double knitting or larger needles or both, but allow more wool for larger sizes. Instructions for long sleeved version as well, embroidery is simple and added at the end with thin tapestry style wool.
