Sirdar 2015DC: Great vintage dog coat knitting pattern.
In three sizes, all in double knitting. There is a button one all
round, slightly stretched 16", 20", 21" and length 17", 22". 27"
(pictured on the whippet) There is a ribbed jumper, just secured at
chest with collar to fit 19", 23", 24" round and 19", 23" and 24" in
length, this one is pictured on the Terrier. The Beagle is wearing a
snazzy jacquard coat with belt, to fit 12", 14", and 16" length and 16",
18" and 20" round. The belt is also attached to neck and acts as
harness style front - I have made this one for my pug in the smaller
size with a slight adjustment as Pugs have deep chest and rather round
tummies! It is very easy to adjust

Winter Woollies Dog Coats: Great vintage little coats for pampered pets. There are instructions for the ribbed poodle sized coat the would also fit other small to medium dogs as it is ribbed and will stretch to 17 inches at widest part, back length is 13 inches, but this can be adjusted. The Beagle in his stripe jacket is looking very smart, this easy to knit is 14 inch at widest part and 13 inches long, by putting a strap under tummy instead of sewing up will allow a broader tummy (Pug, Frenchie etc). Both are knitted in double knitting wool on large needles. Worked on two needles.
