WB 187: Great vintage ladies cardigan knitting pattern from 1930s. This open style with two large buttons at rib was very popular in this decade. The flick collar and rib yoke was also a popular style and very easy to achieve. Knitted in a thick wool that might be similar to modern chunky that knits to between 4-5 stitches to an inch (2.5cm) on 6 imperial needles (5mm) to fit 34 inch bust. Always work a tension square. Nice wide bands and rib.

Looking at the needle size (imperial 8 or 44metric) this could actually be a double knitting ply.
