Bestway 690tc: Great vintage tea cosy knitting pattern from 1930s. There are three tea cosies and a hot water cosy. The classic cottage and rib with hand crochet flowers and the traditional ribbed pair. Try 4ply or double knitting for the cosies.  The cottage measurer 26.5 inches all around bottom edge and is 9.5 inches high.

Bestway1032: Great vintage tea cosies knittinng pattern 1930s. This one is for 3 tea cosies, combining some of the best of Bestway designs. The cottage is 10" long and 3" deep and can measure any size high, the basket of flowers tea cosy is 18.5" round the lower edge, Lady tea cosy 18" round, the doll is also knitted and worked by wrapping yarn round card, very easy and can be used for many types of tea cosy to add a different look. All worked in vintage 3ply so try modern 4ply.

Bestway 1202: Fabulous vintage tea cosy knitting pattern 1930s. Instructions for 2 tea cosies, both made from oddments of wool, another of the wartime patterns that urged you to use scraps or undo old woollens and reuse the wool. The lady tea cosy has a knitted doll top and the flower basket one has cleverly wound loops to create the flowers.

Bestway 1220: Great vintage tea cosy knitting pattern 1930's. Instructions for 3 stunning tea cosies 2ply, 3ply and 4ply wool. A dolls house doll can be used if you dont have genuine half doll - still to find some at reasonable price, or make one from wool see pattern above. Measurements: Crinoline skirt length 7.5 inches and round base 26.5 inches. The square one is 22 inches round base and 7.25 inches high - all measurements are easily adjusted. Still fashionable after 80 years!

Bestway 1609: Great vintage knitting pattern for 3 differnt tea cosies 1940's. This pattern has instructions for three lovely tea cosies in vintage 3ply, so use modern 4ply instead. The golly one can be made into a coffee or cafetiere, the bottom one is the traditonal bell pattern and the fair isle one at the top has a cord decoration. A nice bit of nostalgia.

Bestway 2093: Vintage tea cosy knitting pattern 1930s Stunning tea cosies all in vintage 3ply, so try modern 4ply,  all knitted but one is trimmed with crochet flowers. No measurements given. Lovely condition for this elderly pattern.

Bestway 2270tc: Great vintage knitting pattern for three different tea cosies from 1940s. The top one with flowers which are made from chain stitch and top part is crocheted, measures 15.5 inches round base and is 6 inches high before flowers. The one with the fat pom-pom is a basic stripe rib and will stretch well and is 6 inches high. The second one down has an egg cosy to match and the tea cosy is in two sizes. Flowers are made from felt - instructions included. One measures 19 inches round base and is 6 inches high, the smaller one is 17 and 5 inches high.

Bestway B2358: Vintage tea cosy knitting pattern. Fabulous collection of tea cosies - a snowman, lower edge is 18 inches, height 9 inches, a cute rabbit the same size, ready for easter teatime! A dolly who measures 8.5 inches high and 22 inches round skirts. An an orange which measures 7 inches high and 15 inchs round. All are kntted in 3ply, and 4ply - try double knitting for bigger teapots.

Bestway B2501: Lovely vintage tea cosy knitting pattern. Instructions for 2 crochet and 2 knitted, in vintage 3ply  (try modern 4ply) and double knitting.The two crochet ones measure all round base 16 inches. The blue and white one is all round base 24 inches and depth 7.5 inches. The lady is 26 inches all round base and 7 inches high.

Bestway A2585: Great vintage knitting pattern for tea cosy with Willow pattern 1940s. This lovely pattern  also has instructions for egg cosies to match. Thes make a lovely gift and compliment the many styles of tea services that were based on this pattern so popular in the 1930s and 1940s.Worked in vintage 4ply so try modern double knitting in a tension square or change needle size for the 4ply. The other tea cosy is plain with a cord decration. There is a chart for the design.

Bestway 3650: Great vintage tea cosy knitting pattern pattern. Teatime with a cosy teapot. Easy to knit in chunky wool. measures 18 inches all round and 7 inches high. The crinoline ladies skirt is 6 icnhes deep and 16 inches all round, the berry stitch in with loop is 7 inches deep and 17 inches round lower edge.

Copley 1899: Great vintage tea cosy and egg cosy knitting pattern form late 1940s. This classic design  is very pretty and practical. Knitted in 3ply that would be simlar to modern 4ply and is used double throughout.  Colours suggesst are Baby Rose, Apple Green, Cherry Pink, Pale Blue, Sunshine Yellow, Roayl Blue, Magenta Rose and Violet - such lovely names. But you can use whatever colours you like.

Copley 1900: Great vintage knitting pattern for traditional tea cosies. This is a lovely pattern with instructions for a traditional knitted tea cosy and a crochet one. The knitted one has a beautiful crocheted rose on the top. Always work a tension square. Worked in a yarn similar to 4ply, used double.

Copley 1978: Great vintage tea cosy knitting pattern. There are instructions for three different styles, a crochet one with roses on the top, another crocheted one with flowers on and a knitted one, at the bottom of picture, the flowers are crocheted, but it is easy to knit flowers to decorate the top.

Greenock 102: Delightful vintage knitting pattern for tea cosy with doll 1920s. This pattern uses a proper bisque or china doll with bottom half removed for the bigger doll cosy, you can use small dolls made by doll house doll makers - make your own from fimo or knit one instead.

Greenock 130tc: Fabulous vintage tea cosy knitting pattern 1920s. This super pattern has instuctions for the two delightful tea cosies with Celluloid dolls, a type of early plastic, or china half dolls - you can use small dolls made by doll house doll makers - make your own from fimo or knit one instead, or cut an old vinyl doll in half - even an old Sindy or Barbie would work. There are instructions for egg cosy also with instructions how to make the woolen doll, so this could be also done for the tea cosies.

Greenock 187tc: Great vintage tea csoy knitting pattern CROCHET 1936. This pattern has instructions for a great tea pot cosy that has a loopy design and a pot holder to match. The cosy is made to fit a tea pot with a half lady as part of the lid, but you can make it closed at the top with flowers or pompom.

Ladyship 446tc: Fabulous vintage knitting pattern vintage tea cosies 1930s. This beautiful pattern is for three different cosies and a simple egg cosy. Top embroidered square cosy is for a medium pot and measures 9.5 x12.5 inches (2.5 inches deep), the other embroidered one is 11 x13.5 inches and then there is the little jacket at the bottom which is 6.5 x 8.5 inches. Knitted in thick wool called chubby, which was similar to Aran. The little one is knitted in what they called Holiday wool which was similar to modern 4ply.

NW245TC:  Great vintage knitting pattern for colourful tea cosy. This classic style cosy is knitted in six panels, then embroided and topped with a bow, can be linned if required. no size given.

There are instructions for a traditional pleated one, a crochet loopy one and a classsic crochet one. No sizes given. Worked in double knitting, always work a tension square before you start.

Patons 3857: Great vintage tea cosy CROCHET pattern 1930s. This rare old pattern has instructions for  three different styles of tea cosy, each with a loop at the top. The one at the top centre has a padded lining as does the one one right which has a gusset to make it easier to fit over a larger tea pot. This pattern has some interesting pictures on the back of other patterns that were available at that time.
