Bestway 690tc: Great vintage tea cosy knitting pattern from 1930s. There are three tea cosies and a hot water cosy. The classic cottage and rib with hand crochet flowers and the traditional ribbed pair. Try 4ply or double knitting for the cosies. The cottage measurer 26.5 inches all around bottom edge and is 9.5 inches high.

Bestway1032: Great vintage tea cosies knittinng pattern 1930s. This one is for 3 tea cosies, combining some of the best of Bestway designs. The cottage is 10" long and 3" deep and can measure any size high, the basket of flowers tea cosy is 18.5" round the lower edge, Lady tea cosy 18" round, the doll is also knitted and worked by wrapping yarn round card, very easy and can be used for many types of tea cosy to add a different look. Bestway 1202: Fabulous vintage tea cosy knitting pattern 1930s. Instructions for 2 tea cosies, both made from oddments of wool, another of the wartime patterns that urged you to use scraps or undo old woollens and reuse the wool. Bestway 2270tc: Great vintage knitting pattern for three different tea cosies from 1940s. The top one with flowers which are made from chain stitch and top part is crocheted, measures 15.5 inches round base and is 6 inches high before flowers. The one with the fat pom-pom is a basic stripe rib and will stretch well and is 6 inches high. The second one down has an egg cosy to match and the tea cosy is in two sizes. Flowers are made from felt - instructions included. One measures 19 inches round base and is 6 inches high, the smaller one is 17 and 5 inches high.

The cosy is made to fit a tea pot with a half lady as part of the lid, but you can make it closed at the top with flowers or pompom.

Ladyship 446tc: Fabulous vintage knitting pattern vintage tea cosies 1930s. This beautiful pattern is for three different cosies and a simple egg cosy. Top embroidered square cosy is for a medium pot and measures 9.5 x12.5 inches (2.5 inches deep), the other embroidered one is 11 x13.5 inches and then there is the little jacket at the bottom which is 6.5 x 8.5 inches. Knitted in thick wool called chubby, which was similar to Aran. The little one is knitted in what they called Holiday wool which was similar to modern 4ply.
