L239-Elros: Great vintage ladies summer cape knitting pattern from 1940s. This lovely wartime design would look fabulous over a classic 1940s suit (see suit pages for knitted suits from the 1940s) or slim skirt or pleated top trousers. To fit 34 and 36 inch bust. Knitted in a thick wool that would be similar to modern double knitting. Always work a tension square and change needles to for size. (see other capes and shawls from 1940s and 1950s)

Ladyship 3103: Great vintage classic cardigan knitting pattern. This lace panel V neck style was very popular. Deep welt and set in sleeves, easy to knit and super smart. To fit 33-34 inch bust and 35-36 inch bust. This one is knitted in what was known as chubby wool which would have been similar to a chunky, but not too thick perhaps try an Aran style wool and change needles to get the correct tension.

Ladyship 3131: Great vintage knitting pattern for ladies jacket. This pattern has instructions for a stylish jacket call The Ascot Coat. Knitted in chubby wool which was similar to an Aran or chunky (not too thick) Tension is 5.5 stitches and 6.5 rows to 1 inch square (2.5cm) on imperial no 6 (5mm) this should help in choosing your wool. To fit almost 34 and almost 36 inch bust. It has plain stocking stitch sleeves, back and fronts in simple ridge pattern.
