Bestway 115-1: Great vintage knitting pattern for fair isle twinset from the 1940s. Knitted in vintage 3ply so try modern 4ply in a tension square and change needles if needed to get correct size. The Cardigan and jumper will fit 34"-36" bust easily. Very pretty this one. colours suggested in pattern are lime green, dark green,brown, yellow. The base colour is the lime green - once again very fashionable. Patons do a lovely merino 4ply in lime green, and the other colours as well.

Bestway 616: Great vintage ladies fair isle jumper and cardigan knitting pattern from 1930s. A lovely set in two colours- original was knitted in light navy and white, but the choice is yours. The jumper has short sleeves and the rows of fair isle on back and front with plain sleeves white on dark. The cardigan is the reverse with light back ground and dark patterning on back and fronts, plain sleeves. To fit 36-38 inch bust. Always work a tension square, this one should work well in modern 4ply. Shoulder pads can be used with this design.

Bestway 1721: Great cardigan pattern with fair isle border to match the jumper above - at last, been trying to find this one for a while. I like to get the twin sets together when I can. This is from the 1940's and is knitted in vintage 3ply so try modern 4ply in a tension square and change needles if needed. It actually says in the instructions, if you use 8 (4mm) needles it will knit up to 43" bust! The actual pattern calls for size 11 (3mm) and 13 (2.25mm) for the ribs.  LARGER SIZE matches jumper above - Bestway 1720
