I have several of these types of patterns. Lovely shape to this one, emphasised by the embroidery. The embroidery is worked in black cross stitch from chart supplied.

To make your own slippers was a great way to use up odds and ends of wool and felt as well as economise on store bought items. They were easy to knit and comfy to wear and you could make them to fit. These are so easy to work, and are knitted like trainer socks in the round on 4 fine needles. The soles can be strengthen by adding an insole on the outside or work some coils of crochet to fit sole. These are so easy to work, the soles are made from coiled crochet cord, could use a knitting jenny and make a long sausage to wind round. Diagram and instructions included. These are also lined at the sole (sheep skin insoles can be used or the foam shaped ones work well too.) Charted.
