P61: Alice Baby doll set. Great vintage baby doll layette to fit an 18 inch composition or hard plastic doll. There are instructions for ribbed undies, petticoat with pattern trim, dress, jacket bonnet and bootees, very sweet and with the classic chevron design that became very popular in the 1950s and 1960s. Sirdar produced a similar set to fit a 14 and 16 doll and Bestway produced one similar to fit and 15 inch doll, worked in a finer wool. This one is lovely and one of my composition late 1930's dolls is wearing a set I knitted recently from this pattern.

Pixie Baby Doll-1: Great vintage knitted doll and clothes pattern from 1930s. There are instructions for making the doll plus dress, bootees, undies, jacket, pixie hood all in vintage 3ply. Yellow and blue were recommend trimmed with angora. The finished doll has actually what they called a baby doll mask which was available in craft shops at the time. So instead you can embroider the features on the stocking stitched face as with normal knitted dolls. Not sure how big she is.
