Good Friends-Jacko Monkey: Great vintage knitting pattern for a little monkey. Monkeys were a popular toy in the 1920s and 30s as people kept them as pets. My Great Gran had one called Binki - he was so noisy and very naughty, but at night, about 7pm he would curl up in his little bed and go to sleep until 7am in the morning - no problems! He wore a little blue jacket and went for a walk on a lead like a little puppy or sat on Grandpa's shoulder. Enough of that!! This is Jacko and he is very sweet, not sure of size as it does not say. Can be knitted in double knitting or modern 4ply.
